This letter from Sean Lane explains, to the best of his and my knowledge, the situation of Sam & Max episode tapes:

You know how on your page that Brett said those were all the episodes, except the Glazed McGuffin Affair? Well he’d be right, except he left out 5 other missing episodes. I watched both of my tapes and I figured out that, the episode “Little Bigfoot” was not on your episodes descriptions page, and it may not have been ever aired. Also “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” is the same episode as “The Monkeys from O.N.C.L.E.,” it just has a different name. So that leaves us with 6 missing episodes, which are “Christmas, Bloody, Christmas,” “A Glitch in Time,” “The Glazed McGuffin Affair,” It’s Dangly Deever Time,” “Have a Heart,” and “The Friend for Life.” And none of these match the description of “Little Bigfoot.” Besides, I’ve seen parts of all of those episodes, except for “The Friend for Life.” So that means most likely there will be another video with 6 episodes, just like the other 2, to complete the collection of all the Sam and Max episodes.

Reader Brett Neathery was kind enough to help clear up any confusion with the 3 Sullivan tapes. The tapes include the entire series aired on FOX Kids, with the exception of the episode titled “The Glazed McGuffin Affair,” Why wasn’t this included? Perhaps we’ll never know.

You can read the descriptions of these episodes on the Episode Descriptions page. I’m not sure if these tapes include all of the episodes aired or not, since there are a grand total of 16 episodes here, but the original press pack included descriptions for 20. Perhaps some were never completed or aired? More on this at some point.

Just as I uploaded the last update I checked the messageboard and Sean had discovered that there are two more tapes out from Sullivan Entertainment. There is no mention of then on the Sullivan Website, but they are available on videoflicks.com, and are titled All Creatures Great and Small and Come Fly With Me. Unfortunately, there is no episode listing anywhere for these tapes, but I will find out soon.
