Monkey What?

Monday, September 20th, 1999 by Jake

The Scumm Bar reports that the UK show Cybernet ranked CMI the second funniest game of all time. What was the first? You guessed it, it was Sam & Max Hit The Road! Now where’s that sequel?

Sweet Holy Mother on a Cold Cheese Cracker!

Read these, and enjoy. But think about it… Some people are just dumb.

“One day I was wearing my Sam & Max crew jacket in a store. It has an embroidered Max head on fire on the front and the clerk pointed to it and asked me, “Did you create Pokemon?””
Steve Purcell

“Well people keep walking up to the them [Sam & Max shirts on the table], pick them up, and ask ‘which Pokemon is this?’”

Comicography Section Revised, We got Fan Art!

Thursday, September 2nd, 1999 by Jake

Thanks to Alan Travis I was able to update the Comicography page. It is more complete, and has better descriptions. Go take a look.We got our first piece of Sam & Max fan art a while ago, created by Justin Pierce. Click here or click the image on the right to see it. If I get more submissions there is a possibility that a fan art site will open.

Also, my site will soon only be accessable through http://www.mixnmojo.com/samandmax, not http://welcome.to/samandmax, becasue V3 redirect services are making me put in a banner or a delay page, which, in my opinion, is unacceptable. If anyone knows of another cheap way of promoting this site that doesn’t require large page space (LinkExchange is out of the question), mail me!

And (I forgot this earlier), LucasZone has a Sam & Max Hit the Road quiz up. And finally I have changed the song from The Largest Ball of Twine Theme to Outside Headquarters. These and more fabulous LucasArts tunes can be found at Highland Productions.
