New Mixnmojo Site - and it rules!

Wednesday, April 19th, 2000 by Jake

A new site The Essential Guide to Monkey Island has opened on Mixnmojo.com, and I like it (plus they gave this site a big ol’ link on the main page without me even asking :). It operates as both an info archive and tour guide to the three (soon to be four) Monkey Island games. I suggest you check it out immediately.

Max in Quake III?! Well, Sort Of.

While Max doesn’t make an appearance in the default maps that ship with Quake III Arena, I recently spotted him hidden in Lunaran’s popular map “Corolis Storm.” If you have the full Quake III and want to take a look you’ll need to be in cheat mode with clipping off (to do this go to the console and type “/devmap lun3dm1″ and once the map loads type “/noclip”). He is hidden on the opposite side of some windows. You’ll need to clip through the walls and turn around to see him. To download Corolis Storm go here, or to just take a look at the picture, click here or on the picture on the right. Does Lunaran put Max in all his maps? I dont know, but he’s certainly in this one! Also I updated the product section a little bit after finding my original higher res scans of some of the products. Clicking on Surfin’ The Highway, the T-shirt or Hit The Road will bring up a page with enlarged pictures of those. Thats it :)

I was just sent another Sam & Max remix, this one from Slybo. The sounds from the game were ripped using Scumm Revisited and was mixed with and Acid Music. You can download it here.
