While Max doesn’t make an appearance in the default maps that ship with Quake III Arena, I recently spotted him hidden in Lunaran’s popular map “Corolis Storm.” If you have the full Quake III and want to take a look you’ll need to be in cheat mode with clipping off (to do this go to the console and type “/devmap lun3dm1″ and once the map loads type “/noclip”). He is hidden on the opposite side of some windows. You’ll need to clip through the walls and turn around to see him. I dont know, but he’s certainly in this one!Also I updated the product section a little bit after finding my original higher res scans of some of the products.
