Mike Stemmle Badgered

Just Adventure +, a site that covers just adventure games and other games, has got a quick Q&A up with Sam & Max 2’s project lead, Mike Stemmle. In reality there’s not a whole lot if any new stuff covered here, but it’s nice to hear it from the horse’s mouth. Here’s a sample:

Rumors are afoot concerning arcades sequences in Sam and Max 2 - is there any basis to these rumors?

[Michael Stemmle] : Allow me to answer that in an annoyingly cryptic fashion: We’re taking everything that people seemed to love about the first Sam and Max game, multiplying it by five, and getting rid of all the boring junk.

Sounds good to me. I don’t know why people would have problems with “arcade sequences” in a Sam & Max game, given that they pummel criminals and speed recklessly around town in a car with great regularity in the comics. Anyway, check out the full Q&A with Stemmle and some more LucasArts guys at JA+.

New Fan Art

It’s time for you to check out the newest piece of quality fan-made art that has been added to the fan art section. This latest entry is by none other than fan art demiurge Dan Lee. It’s a 3D rendering of Max, done in 3D Studio Max! Har dee har! Anyway, he has sent us a fine screen capture of 3D Max, as well as a bonus video clip, which reveals some of Max’s finer qualities. Thanks a bunch, Dan!
