News Roundup

Friday, March 30th, 2007 by Bryan

First off, Reality 2.0 is now available for the enjoyment of GameTap subscribers. For the rest of you unfortunate schlubs who won’t be playing the new episode just yet, you can kill some time by watching the new Interim Theater and machinima over at Telltale’s site. Of slightly more substance, the infamous Gabez of Mixnmojo lore has conducted an interview with Dave Grossman, and can be found somewhere around here.

For those interested in the “phat lewtz” that all of the young, hot Turk 182s are talking about these days, feel free to enter Telltale’s trivia contest for a shot at some sweet Sam & Max schwag.

Marvel in awe, but don’t necessarily let it distract you from the important things in life, such as work, navigating stairs, and driving on the autobahn.

Reprint Rumor Ruckus!

Tuesday, March 13th, 2007 by Bryan

What?! You don’t want to pay $200 to buy Surfin’ the Highway on the Internets? Well, maybe you should hold out a little longer, true believer: there’s a buzz in the air about a reprint a-brewin’.

And what news update would be complete without us letting you know that another machinima is up? It’s almost getting to the point where it’d be more newsworthy if Telltale hadn’t released a new machinima. But hey, I’m all for praising punctuality. Keep up the good work, chaps!

Tell Telltale How You Feel

Saturday, March 10th, 2007 by Bryan

C’mon and let it all out in this survey. Remember to be honest and not hurtful though. There’s a world of difference between constructive criticism and insensitivity. Can’t go around demoralizing Telltale so much that we’re stuck without a new Sam & Max game for ten years or some similarly unfathomable event. Not that there’s anything bad to say about Telltale though.

Thursday, March 8th, 2007 by Bryan

For all of you poor deprived souls with neither a Season One nor a GameTap subscription, your opportunity to play Abe Lincoln Must Die! has finally arrived. So scurry on down to Telltale and support capitalism, lest the commies finally win after all these years of steadfast patriotism and sacrifice.

I’m just going to list off what’s been going down for maximum convenience and readability:

Max is officially recognized by the Star Wars universe.

Dave Grossman lets loose that Season Two planning is underway

Steve Purcell is generally funny in this interview

Steve does original artwork for the cover for gamedeveloper

There, that should hold you all off until Reality 2.0 hits.

Spontaneous Act of Kindness from Telltale

Thursday, March 1st, 2007 by Bryan

If you’re a Season One subscribed for Sam & Max and you haven’t checked your email lately, you would probably benefit from doing so. I hear there’s this new email out about an all-natural male enhancement that actually works, and let’s be honest, who here knows a male who hasn’t need to be enhanced? Am I right, ladies? Also, there might be an email in your inbox about Abe Lincoln Must Die! being released an entire week early for subscribers. If you are a Season One subscriber and you have yet to receive an email from Telltale, this link is for you. Now go on and play Episode Four, it’s great fun.
