Hey. It’s been an embarrassingly long time since a real update here. About a year ago, I moved to Northern California to take a job Telltale Games as a web and community guy, and it made running a Sam & Max fan site a nigh-impossible, somewhat nonsensical venture. Sorry
Fortunately, Sam & Max fans are still in abundance, and have continued to do awesome things in spite of my own inability to keep samandmax.net going with new content. One such cool thing was the act of establishing a wiki dedicated to all things Sam & Max, which was dutifully edited by an intrepid band of folks over on Wikia.

However, I’ve been working on getting them all set up over here for the past few weeks, and I’m very happy to announce that the Sam & Max Wiki is now available for browsing and editing. All kinds of Sam & Max information can be digested there, and it’s about 95% less gray than this “placeholder” Wordpress template turned out to be. Big thanks to the editors who made it possible, and especially Harald B for his dedication to not letting me forget about setting this up
As far as the rest of the site goes, it’s a bit soon to tell what will happen, and will depend on mine and Jake’s free time. Something will, though! For now, generate and maintain encyclopedic knowledge of the Freelance Police!

If you had any doubt that Sam & Max would return, you can rest easy now. However, if you were holding out on buying a copy of Steve Purcell’s sketchbook The Effigy Mound, you are shut out of lick my friend, because they’ve all sold out. If it’s any consolation, here’s a French interview of Sam & Max translated into American!

In case you were distracted by certain other announcements from Telltale and forgot, you’ll be able to get hold of “What’s New, Beelzebub”, the final episode of Sam and Max: Season Two on Friday, April 11. That’s very soon.
