New links, new Fan Art, and some Awards.

Pierre (AKA El Camello) has opened a new promising site, The Sam & Max Office. Go take a look. Also, Andrew Lawson has sent in a piece of fan art, which you can see on the Single Pics page. I added JR’s Powered Site Award to the awards page, including some sites that won the Sizzling Weasel on a Stick award (long forgotten!). If you’d like to get one, visit the awards page.

Temporarilly sidetracked by real life. Please hold.

Sorry I haven’t gotten an update out in a while. School, newspaper and website deadlines plus the crashing of my personal web space’s (oasisproductions.net) hard drive have kept me away from this site for a while. I plan to update soon with news and some fan art. (also - what happens in 3 days?).

Ok, this is getting ridiculous.

Justin has given me another fan art pic, this time mocking everyones favorite flick, Titanic. It’s, as predicted, on the Fan Art site. I am going to figure out a way to let you know the fan art is updated without posting an entire news update sometime soon. Luckily there is more news…Also Justin pointed out to me that bn.com is still selling hard-covered versions of the Surfin’ The Highway collection (the book that contains nearly all of the Sam & Max comics. The ones that aren’t in there are in the Comic Shorts section of this site). And they’re autographed! Sweet!

Um I need to think of something more than “Fan Art” for a headline.

Justin Pierce and Jon-Jon have each given me another piece of fan art. Check on the bold links on the Fan Art site. Enjoy, as usual.

Unstoppable flood of fan art!

Now that I’ve gotten lots of art from you guys I’ve started splitting up the Fan Art section. Sean Lane (who has helped with info in the past, see archives) has given me 4 pages of Sam & Max fan art, including a short 3 page comic. All very funny. Once again, its on the Fan Art site.

Minor site updates and some more fan art.

I finally added two things that I’ve been meaning to add for a while to the bottom of the site. You’ll see that I’ve finally added a Top25 button (click it to vote for us!) as well as a link to LucasFans, a very nice LucasArts news site that has been linking to this site for a while. I sort of forgot to add their button and add them to the links page (oops). Also, Justin Pierce, the person who drew the Sam & Max Episode 1 parody has given me two more pieces of work, these ones mocking Pokémon (woohoo!) and the Blair Witch Project. What are you waiting for? Go take a look. Also, for convenience (and because it looks cool) you can directly access the Fan Art section at http://samandmax.mixnmojo.com/fanart. Go take a look at that too.
