[edit] Synopsis

Sam and Max looking at the Blister of Tranquility.

Just when Sam finally figures out that the mastermind behind the recent string of hypnosis-related incidents is Hugh Bliss, The Commissioner calls and asks Sam and Max to deal with Hugh Bliss. So they drive the DeSoto to his headquarters on the moon. After stealing the "spoon bending talisman" from Harry Moleman who has moved on from being a Toy Mafia boss they trick Superball into thinking they are high-level Prismatologists and enter the HQ of Hugh Bliss's prime op; the Blister of Tranquility. They discover that Abraham Lincoln is still alive as a head and that he is studying Gastrokinesis; the prismatology trick of making people throw up with your mind. They help him with his troubles with Sybil, who she met through Sam and Max.

They discover that Hubert and The Bug has also entered Prismatology and that they are moving on with their own lives now. The C.O.P.S., who've moved on from the Reality 2.0 that Sam and Max destroyed, are moving on to a new epic game... tic tac toe and are offering a see-thru talisman for whoever can beat their "AI". Also, Philo Pennyworth from Situation: Comedy has been dabbling in Prismatology and is unsuccessfully trying to get rats out of hats. Bosco is now charging One Hundred Trillion dollars for an "Earthquake Maker" (all while pretending to be his mother and Sybil has someway became the queen of Canada.

Later, they finally penetrate Hugh Bliss' inner sanctum and confront him. The confrontation doesn't go according to plan; not only is Hugh Bliss too well-protected, he goes on to hypnotize the entire world to be like him and "separates Max's bliss", unleashing Max's personified sloth, gluttony and violent tendencies while leaving him a mere husk of his former self. With the help of Bosco and Sybil, those clones are successfully eliminated. Sam & Max confront Hugh Bliss once more. They are quickly captured and Sam is put through a series of death-traps. Bliss reveals he is undefeatable by guns because he is a colony of Bacteria. He is later tricked by Max into being burned and killed and sent to Hell, saving the world.
