Sam and Max in Hell.

Hell is the location where the deceased go, appearing in and only in What's new, Beelzebub?.

The only way to get to hell is to take the soul train from the river styx, ironically right under The Street where Sam, Max, Bosco, Sybil and all the other neighbors live. To take the train one requires a soul token, which is given to one who is deceased. Throughout Sam and Max Save the World & Sam and Max Beyond Time & Space, Sam & Max end up sending (or witness the sending of) Brady Culture, Hugh Bliss, the Shambling Corporate Presence, Santa Claus, the Red Elf, Bosco, the Desoto, Jimmy Two-Teeth and Grandpa Stinky.

Jurgen is the doorman of hell, and in the next room lie Brady, Hugh & Shambling Corporate Presence. The three of them are apparent workers in hell; Hugh is the universal FCC man, Brady does unknown work while the SCP does unknown work (also goofing off while playing Mimesweeper). There is a room in hell dedicated entirely to Sam and Max, and all the donations they made to hell. It is unknown where all the other souls are, though Brady Culture mentions that he "hears the begging of them" all the time.

After freeing Bosco, Santa, Red Elf, the Desoto, Grandpa Stinky & Jimmy Two-Teeth from hell, Satan reveals himself as the boss and, in exchange for the releases of the aforementioned, sends Sam to his own personal hell (consisting of Peepers as his partner). After escaping that hell, the Soda Poppers -- the most hated -- are revealed to be the true leaders. They had controlled the events of the season in order to successfully make hell much less efficient. Unfortunately, the Freelance Police stopped their efforts killing them, returning Satan to his position.
