Hubert

Hubert is Sam & Max' office plant in Season One. When the pointer is put on it, it is called "lush vegetation".

It seems like Sam and Max never water Hubert, and one may wonder if he is even still alive. When they find out he left them to pursue Prismatology, they comment that he looks much healthier for it. Max also mentioned in Culture Shock that he was training hubert to fetch the water for himself.

The plant could be a reference to LucasArts long-lived "Chuck the Plant".
