[edit] Synopsis & Plot

Sam & Max are at the office; Max demands Sam executes Mr Spatula, though the Maimtron 9000 appears out of nowhere killing both it and creating a hole in the wall through Flint Paper's office (and rearranging the structure of The Street). After turning off the machine they discover it was sent by Santa Claus; they go the North Pole surprised at what they've seen!

They see the Soda Poppers all waiting for the "shootout" in the workshop to end. When they get in, they discover that the Green Elf and Red Elf are being abused by Santa who has fired all the other elves. When they approach Santa's room, he pulls out his gun and prepares to snipe them; so they need to find another way in. By helping the green elf produce "elf tears" which makes plants grow fast, they manage to get into his room; but still can't approach him. They discover exorcism instructions requiring the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Girl Stinky makes her cameo as a lead Season Two character; at her diner, she is running a quiz. S&M, The Bug, Abe Lincoln & Sybil Pandemik are all participating in the quiz. By "winning" it they get one of the horsmen. They then go to Bosco who has reinvented his store into a safebase! He has now became largely paranoid of T.H.E.M.. Also, he has a package (holding a horsmen) that he fears is a bomb; but instead of disposing it into his Bomb-B-Gone he claims it holds the money his mother yearly give him. They manage to steal this package.

They then discover The C.O.P.S. have now got into the "car pimping" buisness and are offering a new "music game" (which is yet ANOTHER racing/driving game). Winning it awards them a horsmen. However, Jimmy Two-Teeth has turned the decapitated Maimtron into a boxing casino and turns into a champion. Needing to beat Jimmy to get that horsemen they use Boxing Betty to defeat Jimmy and two other rats. However, Jimmy starts thinking about suicide and begins standing at the tip of a building (Sam and Max fail to convince him to save himself).

Those four horsemen make the exorcism works, but it turns out that it wasn't Santa but one of his Elves that was possessed. Worse, it turns out that they forgot to get the help of the Spirits of Christmas, as mentioned on the other side of the instructions. Without the Spirits Santa can only keep the demon at bay for a while.

The spirits are found easily enough, but they will only help if Sam & Max undo some of the harm they've done over the years by saving three Christmases they've ruined; one in the present (really present-day past), the past and the future. In the future, they must save their future selves from lava death. In the present they need to help The Bug get rid of his family.

However, in the past, the scene flashes back to The Mole, the Mob and the Meatball where Jimmy fails to fence Ted E. Bear's famous meatball sandwich from Leonard Steakcharmer. While Leonard stays tied up and S&M leave, Mary Two-Teeth; Jimmy's wife; and Timmy Two-Teeth; his son; appear. Timmy is revealed to have Terminal Tourette Syndrome and since they can't buy the sandwhich they won't afford the operation and Timmy will die. Mary becomes furious at Jimmy (who claims it is Sam and Max's fault for everything) and is tooken by S&M and given to the present-day Jimmy to save his christmas.

With the help of the spirits the demon is defeated and reduced to a plate of jello. Unfortunately Santa then eats the Jello and gets possessed (again). With some effort Sam & Max knock him out. Since the exorcism won't work a second time, they then decide to ship Santa to Hell in the box the demon came in, which was meant for Satan all along.

"I'm a little concerned about the heavily armed sniper behind door number one."

[edit] Trivia

Really?
  • The title is based on the 1968 movie Ice Station Zebra.
  • In many ways, the Punch-Out!! game series is parodied, a few examples
    • The two boxers before Jimmy Two-Teeth represent Glass Joe and Bald Bull.
    • The music that plays when Jimmy's boxing glove is returned greatly resembles the main theme.
    • Like Little Mac, Boxing Betty sticks out like Hugh Bliss in Hell. (Except Hugh was a colony of alien bacteria.)
  • There is a gag in this game where you can keep asking Bosco about his "store".
  • The fact that Santa is killing people is a reference to the 2005 horror film Santa's Slay
  • The trailor for this episode is a parady and "Santa's Slay" movie trailer
  • There's a chance that if the tv still worked all that would be on is something about Santa going crazy and a christmas special.
  • Completing this episode gives you a 20G Achievement on the XBox 360.
  • The episode's icon is red and has Santa Claus on it. Santa Claus also turned out to be the main villain.
