[edit] Synopsis

Sam and Max fill for the host of Cooking Without Looking, one of several shows they must appear on to save Myra's audience.

Sam and Max are sent by the The Commissioner to the WARP TV studio when talk show host Myra Stump takes her audience hostage. After helping Bosco deal with Jimmy Two-Teeth and the Skinbodies terrorizing his store, they manage to convince The Director to let them enter the studios. She has them work alongside Philo Pennyworth and Bessie on Midtown Cowboys in one of its first new episodes in a longtime. Sam and Max later meet, for the first time, Hugh Bliss, who will take a photo of them. They will try to win the impossible to win "Who's never going to be a Millionaire?"

But they later discover Myra Stump who refuses to let them in on the show until they get a recording contract, a clip from a hit TV show (which they'll get from their Midtown Cowboys TV Show) and a newspaper showing them scandalized. When they make it to the next show, "Embarassing Idol", they discover that the 3 Soda Poppers are participating in it; Peepers is contesting while the other two guys are judging. Max takes over as judge, though due to Whizzer's prejudice to always vote for his brother (and that the game requires unaniomous voting and Specs prefers Peepers) Sam is unable to win. By switching "Who's never going to be a Millionaire" questions with those of Peeper's lyrics they can make a million dollars of the show (which becomes cancelled due to overwhelming bankruptcy). Later, they create a disgusting dish on "Cooking without Looking" to eliminate Whizzer from the judge's panel then trick Specs into voting for Sam.

After giving Sybil, who has become a tabloid newspaper maker, a picture of them with a green Hugh Bliss, they get on Myra's show and discover she is being hypnotized by a strange bear. They destroy this bear and knock out Myra and save the day.

Later, Sam and Max are pulled out of this time...

[edit] Neutral Characters

  • Mr Spatula - The office pet goldfish of Sam & Max.
  • Hubert - The office pet plant of Sam & Max.
  • Bosco - Paranoid owner of Bosco's Inconvenience which is terrorized by rats (but saved by Sam and Max) at the start of the episode..

  • Jimmy Two-Teeth - Rat living in Sam & Max's office in the rat hole still getting in their ways.

[edit] Antagonists

  • Skinbodies - Rats resembling Jimmy Two-Teeth who unsuccessfully tries to steal from Bosco's Inconvenience.
  • Myra Stump - The main antagonist of the episode holding an audience captive and will not let Sam & Max in until they prove their worth of entering the show. Due to how nobody on her shows comes back and how everyone goes on her set, The Director is shown to be quite upset with her.
