Talk:List of art in Surfin' the Highway

Now I appreciate the effort but there are issues with this page and I'm not sure it's even worth having. The Surfin' the Highway page is intended to cover both, and is important enough that it could be a good bit longer if there's stuff worth adding.

• The Foreword shouldn't be reprinted in full here at all. It's copyrighted, it's one of the bonuses over the original, and it doesn't really add worthwhile information.
• Under Contents, not only are most comics already mentioned in the Surfin' the Highway page, but the 2008 edition contains every comic made before The Big Sleep. There's no need to list them again when that's what our Comicography is for.
• We actually do have pages on Skeptical Investigators, the The Adventurer comics and the Special Color Collection.
• The first Note is not worth noting here. Maybe on the Something's Not Right Here page itself, though Steve does things like that a lot.
• We don't put core material in a references section (or even do references sections, come to think of it). Especially when the "reference" is the thing under discussion.

I think the best thing to do is to change this page to something like "List of Surfin' the Highway contents", "Art in Surfin' the Highway" or somesuch, and take out/move the rest. Sorry. I'll wait for a reply here to not get too drastic on you. Harald B 07:03, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, no problem with that. Though, to be honest I didn't know the foreword was copyrighted but things happen... Maybe I'm just so excited that I got mine yesterday, I got a little carried away... Sure, we can delete these. Also, for the Skeptical Investigators, Adventurer Comics and Color Edition, those links I just didn't know the right names for. TheHighway 12:45, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
