The Final Episode is the 24th episode in the series The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police.

Sam and Max reminisce while a team of villains try to get rid of them once and for all.
[edit] In-Depth Synopsis
A group of previously seen villains led by Mack Salmon have managed to capture Sam & Max. They are now tied to a large bomb in an airplane, with the villains planning to drop them and the bomb into a volcano. When the villains leave them tied up, they start to reminisce, starting a series of flashbacks that take up most of the episode (see below). Despite a joke implying otherwise, none of these clips have actually been used before. After a couple of flashbacks, the villains return, see they've gotten loose, and throw them out of the plane right away.
They land on Lactose the Intolerant and start to make their way to the cockpit, continuing to exchange flashbacks on the way and inside. After a while the remaining villains return and interrupt them, after which they get tied to the bomb again. Then the Rubber Pants Commandos appear and start making short work of the villains while Sam and Max get loose. Unfortunately, they accidentally the button to drop the bomb, which falls straight into the volcano. At that point Sam & Max explain that they've secretly replaced the bomb's payload with 600 lbs of anti-flatulent. Instead of the planned mega-eruption, not much happens. The Commandos then get rid of Mack Salmon.
As they fly the plane towards the sun, Sam and Max debate whether this really is the final episode. Max is sure the phone will ring soon enough, and indeed it does. The episode ends with them fighting over it.
