[edit] Synopsis

Sam and Max battle the monster in The Geek's fridge.

[edit] In-Depth Synopsis

After an unearthly presence in The Geek's fridge consumes three refrigerator repairmen, she decides to call in Sam & Max instead. After fooling around a bit their first move is to attack the fridge with various heavy weapons. When that doesn't work, they go into the gateway to a parallel dimension inside.

Inside they find a frozen wasteland filled with oversized food, and find the missing repairmen in a nearby building. The repairmen tell them an evil shapechanging entity known as The Thing has been stalking them. While they're all discussing things, the Thing reveals itself, eats Higgins and slinks off. After some analysis Sam & Max go out to hunt it down. They confront it, but are forced to run away. The Thing soon finds them, but then it turns out that all it really wants is to be eaten.

Sam does so, and the death of The Thing makes the alternate dimension collapse, dropping them all back in the Sub-Basement. Sam gets stomach issues, but it turns out to be for the best as the gases in the enormous belch he releases effectively plug the hole in the ozone layer. The Commissioner then calls, and the Freelance Police are off to fix some bad trouble in the lost city of Atlantis.
